Dining & Nutrition

With varied, nutritious and delicious menus designed in collaboration with MasterChef 2016 winner Jane Devonshire, and delivered by our experienced kitchen and service teams, great food is at the heart of Signature life.  Most of our homes feature two restaurants – an informal and lively bistro as well as a stylish fine dining restaurant.  Find out what goes in to creating our award-winning menus in this video.

Activities

Every signature home has a dedicated activities team organised by an activities manager.  With extensive weekly activity calendars, there is always plenty to choose from, whatever a resident’s mobility level.  Activities inside our homes include ballroom dancing, board games, guest musicians and speakers and of course our ever-popular bridge tournaments.  We also organise regular outings, from theatre and cinema trips to nature walks, shopping trips and church services.  Many of our homes also have gardening areas and potting sheds, where green-fingered residents can tend their own plot. Signature Lifestyle

Signature’s homes are often compared to “hotels, but with care”.  With most of our homes offering a choice of restaurants, cafes and bars, dining and nutrition is a highlight for many residents.  Many homes also offer a cinema, spa bathroom and beauty salon among other facilities.  Moving into a Signature home means access to many opportunities that wouldn’t normally be available.

Companionship – A Life Well-Lived

Living at home can be lonely for some.  More limited mobility or travel capabilities can mean losing the social opportunities that used to be available.  When residents move into their new home with Signature, we offer support to enable them to fit in to our vibrant communities.  Many residents enjoy joining others for a drink in one of our bars or cafes, and a full activities programme offers further opportunities for getting involved in communal events.

Engaging Activities

Our weekly activities programmes offer all sorts of entertainment, from theatre trips to communal cooking and crafts activities., to visiting entertainers.  Signature have even arranged a quiz competition between our communities.  Hosted by royal correspondent, Jennie Bond, this was a huge success with our residents.  Jennie then joined us to answer royal family and coronation-related questions from our residents.  See the video here.
