June 19th and 20th we had two lovely days out at Dukes Lane for The Changing of the Carriages. I’m pleased to report that the two days spent In Duke’s lanes weren’t wasted as we managed to see the queen on both days. Whilst waiting for the queen and the Royal Family we spent the time talking to local police officers and had a lovely Picnic. Around the lane, there were lots of friendly dogs and horses which the riders approached us, which the resident enjoyed stroking and learning more about the horse role within the police. We also got talking to the Queens’s servicemen who were all in their smart footmen’s Uniform. To blend. It was lovely to spend time with the local community and schools. I’m pleased to say we have also managed to get ourselves tickets for next year.
